The Linhay, a separate 1-bedroom studio sleeping 2, is available separately or can be booked together with The Grange for groups of 13.
Stabling for up to 12 horses is provided at £15 per horse night to include stabling, bedding and grazing. You can ride straight out onto farm and open moorland on our 900 acre estate and beyond.
Known as ‘The Riding Playground of England’, Exmoor with its spectacular views guarantees wonderful outriding at any time of year. Ride through beautiful heather clad moorland – ablaze in pinks and purples in late summer, or along primrose filled bridleways at springtime, through ancient oak woods and over bubbling rivers and streams. Its easy to get away from what few busy roads there are on Exmoor: there over 400 miles of bridleways to explore on Exmoor with plenty of opportunities for a fast canter over the open moor. As you go, keep an eye open for other wildlife such as Exmoor ponies, buzzards and red deer.
There are 6 newly revamped circular riding routes over Exmoor promoted by The British Horse Society and Exmoor National Park Authority in the form of laminated maps. Click here for further information as well as the Two Moors way for riders and walkers which borders the estate.
